Wichers completed four years Royal Academy of Art 's-Hertogenbosch (NL), department painting followed by two years of pedagogical & didactic studies at the same institute. Moving to Antwerp broadened her artistic environment and gave her  a wider perspective of her diaspora Indo community: they were part of the +-300.000 complete European community who fled to the Netherlands after Indonesia's declaration of independence in 1947. 

The artist starts within her core foundation of visual art from where she explores various disciplines. Intuition and improvisation allow her to move with her actions in diverse contexts such as contemporary art, theater, fashion and music. The interconnectedness between all this art disciplines is inherently linked with her versatile personality and her vision that all our ten or more senses cannot be seen seperate from each other.  During travels to Indonesia she was struck by the versatility of the dalang, the wayang puppet master who embodies this interdisciplinary properties in one person.  This experience gave her the inspiration and courage to explore vocal improvisation in collaboration with others and implement visual and action art in her performances.
